If the walls of The Writers Room could talk, one can only imagine the tales they’d tell: Writers such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway and William Faulkner and other Hollywood elite used to frequent the bar formerly in this space, the “back room” of Musso & Frank restaurant. The nightspot has been restored courtesy of nightlife visionary Nur Khan, film producer Holly Wiersma and Abdi Manavi, along with close friends including actors Jack Huston and Jason Segal. Celebrated local mixologist Daniel Nelson commands a cocktail menu inspired by the ethnic neighborhoods of Los Angeles. 6685 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, 323.491.4148.
