It’s hard to top a night out at Mastro’s in Beverly Hills—that is, until you head upstairs to the swanky establishment’s airy 5,221-square-foot “cosmopolitan oasis,” The Penthouse at Mastro’s Steakhouse.

In this sophisticated new dining and lounge space, located on the building’s third floor, guests soak in the atmosphere at white-linen covered dining tables indoors or en plein air on the terrace, sipping premium hand-crafted cocktails such as the Oaxacan Monk, served on a hand-cut ice block, or selections from the bar’s elaborate sake and champagne lists. On the menu: the generous signature cuts and iced seafood towers for which Mastro’s is renowned, plus sushi selections developed exclusively for the Penthouse by chef Angel Carbajal of award-winning Nick-San Restaurant in Cabo San Lucas. (Marinated albacore and black truffles or jalapeño tuna sashimi, anyone?) A DJ keeps the mood light and lively. 246 North Canon Drive, Beverly Hills, 310.888.8782. mastrosrestaurants.com
