The Skirball Cultural Center salutes the life, career and influence of enigmatic magician and escape artist Harry Houdini (pictured) in Houdini: Art and Magic. The first major exhibition to explore Houdini’s life and legacy features more than 150 artifacts, from posters and playbills to silent-film footage of his great escapes to personal items such as family photos, a postcard written to his mother and diaries from his travels.
