The boho set is right at home among the eclectic shops and cafes of Sunset Junction, Silver Lake’s pedestrian-friendly retail stretch along Sunset Boulevard.
Mohawk General Store and Mohawk Man
Find your own artsy look at Mohawk General Store (1), overseen by husband-and-wife team Kevin and Bo Carney. Shop this carefully edited selection of finds, including of-the-moment bag line Mansur Gavriel and Robert Clergerie must-have women’s shoes for fall. Men can find their closet building blocks at the guys’ store located a stone’s throw away at Mohawk Man (2).
L.A.-based accessories designer Clare Vivier holds court on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Micheltorena Street with Clare V. (3). There, accessories fiends can find her signature fold-over clutches, including the uber-popular leopard-print option, plus pieces from the recently released men’s line, such as card cases, passport holders and the handsome canvas and leather Adam’s duffle.
Nearby, in-the-know jewelry lovers flock to Dream Collective (4), home to designer Kathryn Bentley’s geometric cuffs and necklaces, as well as her higher-end line studded with semiprecious and precious stones (think opal, tourmaline, diamonds and more).
Swiss design house En Soie (5) adds to the area’s eclectic vibe with its signature colorful scarves, jewelry and hard-to-find Porselli ballet flats from Milan.
And for more standout footwear, don’t miss Undefeated (6), a shoe lover’s dream thanks to its selection of limited-edition Nikes and Red Wing Boots, complemented by Undefeated caps and Bathing Ape tees and sweatshirts.
