Sorry, Paris—Saint Laurent creative director Hedi Slimane has unveiled the brand’s largest womenswear-only store in the world, and it’s on Rodeo Drive.
The French designer Hedi Slimane, who resides and designs in L.A., outfitted the 10,000-square-foot, three-story store in modern art deco style, rich with black and white marble, quilted leather, mirrors and silver finishes. The fashions, including ready-to-wear, denim, evening and shoes, exude Slimane’s signature rock-star cool. A second store at 469 N. Rodeo Drive, which served as the brand’s digs during the renovation, now carries the men’s collections only. 326 N. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, 310.271.5051. ysl.com
