From Jan. 21-Feb. 1, you can dine on gastronomic delicacies from more than 250 top restaurants on Los Angeles, including The Parish in downtown Los Angeles which Zagat just named one of their “10 Hottest Restaurants in the World.” Other newcomers include Father’s Office, Red O, Le Ka and Umamicatessen, among old favorites like Tres by Jose Andres, Cleo at The Redbury, Craft Los Angeles, The Bazaar by Jose Andres, Night + Market, and Water Grill.
Los Angeles restaurants offer specially priced three-course tasting menus, many for both lunch ($15, $20 or $25) and dinner ($25, $35 or $45). Highlights range from melt-in-your-mouth beef cheeks with olive oil mashed potatoes at Tres, to Petrossian’s famous Egg Royal.
For the first time ever, diners are invited to flaunt their foodie photography skills as part of the “Dine. Snap. Win.” contest on Instagram. Just capture a picture of your favorite Restaurant Week dishes from any participating restaurant and post with the hashtag #dineLA for a chance to win an exclusive dining prize. At the end of Restaurant Week, the 25 most popular eateries with dishes featured on Instagram will win 2013 Diner’s Choice.
