The Envelope Please at The Abbey
Feb. 24. Don your black tie best and head to the Abbey to sip Belvedere Vodka cocktails and Moët & Chandon Champagne, followed by a seated dinner during the Oscar telecast. Celebrity hosts Pauley Perrette (NCIS) and Becca Tobin (Glee) along with David Cooley (founder of The Abbey) take you through the night and will also host a live auction during the commercial breaks of the telecast. Following the telecast, the public is welcome to stop by The Abbey for an after-party, featuring a DJ set by Dawna Montell. Public Kitchen & Bar
Feb. 24. Watch a live telecast of the Academy Awards at Public Kitchen & Bar, located in the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel – the site of the very first Academy Awards in 1929. The ceremony will be projected on large flat screen televisions installed around the main dining room. A limited number of guests can reserve a seat with a view and enjoy Executive Chef Tim Goodell’s three-course prix-fixe menu featuring signature items such as Wagyu Beef Tartare; Dover Sole; and Lemon Napolean with honey ginger ice cream ($99 per person, excluding tax and gratuity). A selection of á la carte items will be offered to diners looking to enjoy the overall experience in the remainder of the restaurant.
