Georgie
You’ve seen him cook and critique on the Food Network, now you can dine on modern American cuisine from Celebrity Chef and Restaurateur Geoffrey Zakarian at his first restaurant in Los Angeles. Georgie takes over the space formerly occupied by Scarpetta in the Montage Beverly Hills. The restaurant is accompanied by The Garden Bar, which offers an all-day menu and classic cocktails. Both spaces offer indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Beverly Canon Gardens. At Georgie, dine on fare like goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms; cumin-spiced soft shell crab; dry-aged Creekstone Farms tomahawk steak; roasted diver scallops with grilled leeks, chanterelle mushrooms and egg vinaigrette; and more. The wine list includes high-end choices by the glass made possible through a Coravin system; while cocktails feature fresh ingredients like avocados, fresh juices and herbs. Providence
Through June 30. The fine dining destination celebrates their 11th anniversary with a special four-course tasting menu for $90/pp (a tribute to opening prices from 2005). The menu will change daily and feature dishes like Uni Egg, sea urchin hiding beneath soft scrambled eggs; Wild King Salmon, miso mustard, apricot, pork belly; and Live Scallop, salted butter, black truffle. Plan Check
June 10-July 10. In the latest collaboration between the LA neighborhood restaurant that specializes in modern takes on American comfort food and Sanrio, Plan Check will feature special Pompompurin and Chococat menu items. At all three locations, you can dine on dishes inspired by the characters like mac ’n’ cheese, Pompompurin grilled sausage sandwich, Chococat cookie served with vanilla ice cream and more. A multi-course Plan Check x Pompompurin x Chococat menu will be available for $39 and each menu set will include a limited edition co-branded cap. Boxwood on the Roof
Enjoy sweeping views of the city over top food and cocktails this summer at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills. Connie and Ted’s
The New England-inspired restaurant launches a “Something Special Every Day” menu, offering a rotating seafood-centric special ($16-$32) created by Executive Chef Sam Baxter. Highlights include baked stuffed lobster ($32) on Mondays; “Bivalves and Beer” moules frites ($16) on Tuesdays; Gumbo with chicken, andouille sausage and shrimp ($19) on Wednesdays. Beverly Hills Food & Wine Festival
June 10-12. Dine on top fare from chefs and restaurants from LA and beyond at this celebration of food and drinks.
