Los Angeles Antiques Show
Sixty-Five exhibitors from the United States and Europe are featured in vignettes representing design movements from ancient to modern at the 15th annual Los Angeles Antiques Show, April 21-25 at the Santa Monica Air Center’s Barker Hangar. Items include 17th-, 18th- and 19th-century American, English and Continental furniture and decorative arts, 20th-century modernism, Native American, Asian and African arts. New exhibitors include Bernard Steinitz of Paris and Carlton Hobbs of New York, both highly respected dealers of Continental furniture. Among returning exhibitors are Kentshire Galleries (English furniture) and Jacaranda Tribal (tribal and African arts) of New York; the Silver Fund of London (Georg Jensen and sterling); Rick Scott of San Francisco (objets de curiosite) and Inner Gardens of Los Angeles (garden ornamentation).
