WP24 Rooftop Patio
It’s no secret that WP24 is one of the best spots in L.A. to dine over panoramic views of the city. Now, they’re raising the bar by two floors. For the first time in it’s five year history, the Ritz Carlton, Los Angeles is opening its 26th floor rooftop terrace to the public every Friday and Saturday night through Sept. 5, 2015. Secure a pre-confirmed reservation to enjoy a selection of Asian-inspired, a la carte small bites and seasonal cocktails (with ingredients from the rooftop’s herb and fruit garden) and live jazz tunes—all over sweeping city views. WP24 Restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine John Lechleidner dishes out small plates such as roasted Kurobuta pork banh mi with pickled vegetables, cilantro and chilies; red snapper ceviche with aji amarillo, citrus, basil and cilantro; and grilled prawns with coconut sticky rice, pickled vegetables and red curry. 6-10 p.m.  Make reservations through WP24. Upstairs at Ace Hotel
The pool-adjacent restaurant and bar atop Ace Hotel downtown offers fresh cocktails and global twists on California cuisine along with a gorgeous view of the L.A. skyline. Head up to the elevator for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch to feast on fare like burrata and arugula salad or the Moroccan spiced chicken press sandwich. Upstairs holds events every night of the week, including book release parties, live bands, pop-up shops and other happenings like Tannins & Tans, a wine-tasting program held on July 29, Aug. 12 and Aug. 26. Rooftop West at The London West Hollywood
Seeing the L.A. skyline perched above West Hollywood is magnificent any time of day, and now you can enjoy spectacular views over lunch, dinner or “London Hour” from the rooftop of the London West Hollywood. E.P. & L.P.
If the unparalleled rooftop views don’t immediately hook you, the Asian fare from award-winning Executive Chef Louis Tikaram, and cocktails from Beverage Director Alex Straus definitely will. The multilevel space is comprised of E.P., a second-level dining room, L.P. rooftop bar and Frankie’s private bar also on the roof. At E.P., dine in the light of floor-to-ceiling windows on contemporary Southeast Asian food ranging from small plates to larger family-style offerings like Lou Dogg’s Crispy Skin Chicken, a half Mary’s chicken with black vinegar, chili and lemon; Wood-Grilled Fijian Tuna, with green mango, roasted coconut, Thai basil and chili; and Chiang Mai Larb, spiced salmon, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf and Vietnamese mint. Begin and end your night on the L.P. rooftop over sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills, a street food menu and crafted cocktails. Perch, the 15th-16th floor indoor-outdoor bistro and lounge showcases sweeping views of Pershing Square and downtown’s skyscrapers. With food and décor inspired by France, Perch’s 15th floor dining room serves dinner and weekend brunch with offerings such as the seasonal fruit platter, smoked salmon Benedict and steak frites.
