After a successful run in Koreatown, this craft beer destination opened a second outpost in downtown Long Beach in late 2016. Just shy of its one-year brick-and-mortar anniversary, grab a cold one at this brewery housed only a few blocks away from the Space X headquarters. 6. Monkish Brewing Co.

Beer. Hope. Love. With a slogan like that, why wouldn’t you want to swing by for a visit? This one-stop tasting room and brewery in Torrance also offers a small snack menu—nuts, pistachios and more—alongside a lineup of local food trucks. 7. Smog City Brewing

Residing a stone throw’s away from Monkish Brewing Co., find an impressive brew selection at this spacious Torrance destination. Nature lovers will also appreciate—despite the brewery’s name—the company’s dedication to the environment; Smog City Brewing is the only brewery in L.A. 8. Strand Brewing Co.

Kid-friendly? Check. Dog-friendly? Check (leashed and well-behaved only, please). Enough room for a game of cornhole? Yep, you guessed it. Check. 9. Yorkshire Square Brewery

This Torrance hot spot brings bits of British flair to the South Bay beer scene. Expect cast-conditioned, hand-pulled ales paired with food like Totchos (Cajun tots topped with cheese sauce and Soyrizo). Did we mention you can also snap a photo with the Queen of England?
