Hispanic Heritage Month With Fiestas Patrias Family Day

Sept. 15. To kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, Honest Company is partnering for the second year with bilingual, Latina-owned Lil’ Libros for a day of family fun at the La Plaza de Cultura y Artes Fiestas Patrias Family Day. Roaring Nights at the L.A. Zoo

Sept. 14. The popular Roaring Nights series returns to the Los Angeles Zoo in 2024 with an ’80s theme, offering guests a nostalgic night of music, dancing and animal encounters. This 21-and-over event also offers pop-up zookeeper talks, party at the carousel and after hours exploration. Local food trucks and a full bar will be available throughout the night. Lowrider Parade at the Petersen

Sept. 15. In connection with the “Best in Low: Lowrider Icons of the Street and Show” exhibit, the Petersen Automotive Museum is hosting a lowrider parade around the neighborhood, ending with a car show in the museum’s parking lot. Level 8 Feastival 

Sept. 12. Celebrating its one-year anniversary Level 8 launches a special event called Feastival, a $79 bottomless dining experience. Guests can sample signature dishes from Lucky Mizu, Maison Kasai, Qué Bárbaro and The Brown Sheep, offering a range of flavors from Japanese and South American cuisine to Mexican-Californian street food. The event features live entertainment, including bands and burlesque at Mr. Wanderlust and samba dancers at Golden Hour. The Memory of Taste x Caldo Verde

Gary Goldstein Book Signing

Olafur Eliasson: OPEN

Opens Sept. 15. The Icelandic-Danish artist, known for his large-scale environmental installations, including a blazing sun suspended at the Tate Modern, will debut a new commission at MOCA’s Little Tokyo location.
