ArtNight Pasadena

March 13. The biannual arts and culture open house in Pasadena returns with free access to some of the city’s most notable museums and performance spaces, giving visitors an easy way to explore multiple institutions in one night. Guests can hop on complimentary shuttle buses traveling between destinations such as the recently reopened USC Pacific Asia Museum, ArtCenter, Norton Simon Museum, Gamble House, Kidspace Children’s Museum and more, with many venues presenting special arts programming and live performances throughout the event. Armand de Brignac’s ‘Dream in Gold’ Oscars After Party

March 15. Continue awards night celebrations at the Oscars After Party at Skybar at Mondrian Los Angeles, featuring red carpet arrivals, celebrity DJs and the PopSugar VIP lounge. Produced by Affinity Nightlife, the night includes immersive activations with champagne by Armand de Brignac, bites from Ike’s sandwiches and Cinderella Cakes, installations by Blvkbook and brand moments from Vitaminwater and Topo Chico. KCRW PieFest

March 14. Celebrate Pi Day surrounded by hundreds of pies at the Autry Museum, where KCRW Good Food host Evan Kleiman leads a massive pie-baking contest and day of culinary festivities. Guests can also sample slices from more than 25 dessert vendors, watch baking demonstrations, browse cookbooks, play games and explore hands-on activities like weaving. Attendees can also help judges—including Will Ferrell, Roy Choi and other culinary personalities—select winners in the visual categories. Hollywood Roosevelt Hosts Oscars Gala and Viewing Party

March 15. Amiguita Brings Afro-Latin Flavors and Dominican Roots to Silver Lake

Now Open. Afro-latin restaurant Amiguita opens in Silver Lake, showcasing a menu shaped by Chef Alejandro Eusebio’s Dominican roots and the cultural communities that have influenced his cooking. Inspired by the Cibao region, the intimate 34-seat dining room features a mural by Los Angeles artist Lara Apponyi and centers on family-style dishes cooked over a Mibrasa charcoal oven, including Mibrasa vaca frita with hanger steak, orange mojo, grilled onions, scallion and black garlic aioli. Re:MEX Launches at Daisy Margarita Bar

March 15-16. Miznon Debuts Expanded Menu & Flagship Opening in Beverly Grove

March 14. The new Beverly Grove flagship introduces the full breadth of the Miznon menu for the first time, expanding beyond the offerings found at the Grand Central Market location. The menu includes a wider selection of pita and “out-of-pita” dishes such as ratatouille, intimate stew with slow-cooked beef and root vegetables, hummus plate and masabaha lima beans, alongside kosher-style items like a schnitzel pita, ribeye pita and amburger. A dedicated bar program debuts with cocktails exclusive to the location—including the Miznon margarita, pink lemon drop, the OG and smoke and ginger—as well as mocktails like a garden mule and amalfi spritz. John Williams & Rachmaninoff

March 13-15. Rising conductor Anna Handler returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall to lead a program featuring John Williams’ dignified and lyrical Trumpet Concerto, performed by LA Phil Principal Trumpet and M. David and Diane Paul Chair Thomas Hooten. Best known for composing some of the most iconic film scores in history, Williams has also made lasting contributions to the concert hall repertoire over the past 70 years. Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade

March 15. Hermosa Beach brings Irish spirit to the coast during its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, now in its 30th year. Bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers and classic cars decked out in green will make their way along the parade route beginning near City Hall on Valley Drive, heading west on Pier Avenue and ending at Hermosa Avenue and 8th Street. The free celebration continues with live music and dancing at nearby Pier Plaza. Festivities begin early with a pre-parade party on March 13 featuring additional music, food and drinks.
