Crystal Wreath Making Workshop 
Dec. 5. Get festive and crafty w
ith Tiny Bandit and Fun Fete LA while you make your own one-of-a-kind holiday decor. Mingle with fellow crafters as you imbibe wine and snack on some light bites. Handmade Ornaments Show 
Dec. 5- 22. Peruse the iam8bit gallery and comb through unique handcrafted tree ornaments that bring a refreshing twist of creativity to holiday shopping. In an age where the season can get so overly commercialized and mass-produced, this sixth annual Handmade Ornaments Show’s one-of-a-kind multimedia pieces will be perfect additions to anyone’s Christmas tree. Echo Park Craft Fair
Dec. 6-8. This popular homegrown arts and design event—celebrating its 10th anniversary here—showcases the wares of talented local artisans. Shop for jewelry, clothes, ceramics, perfume and more. Breakfast With Santa
Dec. 7. 
Come to Santa Monica Place’s annual festive breakfast celebration for breakfast treats, face painting, crafts, a magical holiday concert by Kiddle Karoo and, of course, photos with little old Saint Nick. CicLAvia—The Valley 
Dec. 8. Five miles of L.A.’s normally congested streets turn into a car-free park for a walk and bike tour through Canoga Park, Winnetka and Reseda during this San Fernando Valley iteration of the beloved open-streets event. The nonprofit organization aims to put in motion (pun intended) a healthier lifestyle and cleaner air quality while bringing the community together in a less congested environment. Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks
Dec. 8. The picturesque beachside city’s annual holiday celebration features a Skechers-sponsored snow park, a Santa float and live music, capped off by a fireworks show over the pier. Lucques Cook Book Supper: Oaxaca
Dec. 8. The book-inspired dinner series returns to Lucques this Sunday with Guelaguetza chef
Bricia Lopez as she gives everyone a peek into her new cookbook, Oaxaca: Home Cooking From the Heart of Mexico. The exclusive menu will feature multiple courses of colorful dishes such as pasta de frijol negro, tacos de barbacoa de chivo and goat neck tacos in broth. For dessert, Bricia will be preparing her special gelatin de tres leches con jerez with quince and candied walnuts. Bona Furtuna Dinner Series
Through Dec. 23. Osteria Cal Mare is hosting a charitable dinner series this holiday season in collaboration with Sicilian farm Bona Furtuna, the source of Osteria’s fine imported ingredients. This month, savor five carefully crafted courses tailored to highlight the farm’s estate-grown olive oil, fresh produce, sauces and hand-harvested herbs. Bona Furtuna’s culinary gift sets—a perfect holiday gift for any foodie—will be available for purchase. Partial proceeds from the tasting menu and the gift sets will be donated to No Kid Hungry. Through Dec. 31. This month, as part of his rotating themed drink series, Birds & Bees bar manager Jake Larowe has mixed up four fresh herbal cocktails. For a limited time, the hidden ’50s-inspired basement bar is serving the Fruit Cake Side Car (a holiday-esque cranberry ginger cocktail), What’s the Dill (a Scandinavian-inspired citrus drink with housemade dill liquor), Suzy Q (a light and fruity winter refreshment with gentian liqueur) and Coco Verde (a fresh take on the minty grasshopper cocktail, with white peppercorn tincture). 207 S. Blitzen’s Holiday Pop-Up Bar 
Through Dec. 31. There’s no place like Blitzen’s for the holidays. At Here and Now’s over-the-top holiday pop-up, watch the snow fall outside as you enjoy treats like warm Matzoh Ball Soup and cocktails like You Go Glenn Cocoa and Yule Shoot Your Rye Out. In the spirit of giving, the bar teamed up with PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), so you get a free cup of punch when you bring in a quart-sized bag of toiletries to donate. The Nutcracker
