Mardi Gras at the Original Farmers Market

March 1-2. Celebrate Mardi Gras weekend at the Original Farmers Market with live music, festive eats and the annual Mutti Gras Pet Parade & Costume Contest. On Saturday at noon, costumed pups will strut through the Market Plaza, competing for the titles of King and Queen in small, medium and large categories, with prizes from the Dog Bakery. Oscars Night at the Museum

March 2. The Academy Museum hosts an Oscars watch party on March 2, offering a red carpet-style evening with hors d’oeuvres, wine and a live telecast in the David Geffen Theater. The Hollywood Roosevelt’s 97th Oscars Viewing Gala
