Downtown Burbank Winter Arts Festival

Dec. 13-14. The holidays arrive in Downtown Burbank as the city closes its main thoroughfare for a biannual arts festival curated by indie artisan marketplace Jackalope, featuring more than 200 local makers. Visitors can browse art, photography, ceramics, glass goods, original fashion, jewelry, seasonal treats and more, alongside live music and family activities such as ornament-making. Chain Holiday House in LA

Now Open. SANTA Monica Pub Crawl

Dec. 13. The holidays arrive in Santa Monica with the annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl, where an admission fee benefiting the Westside Food Bank grants access to themed routes offering food and drink specials at stops such as the Victorian, Jameson’s Irish Pub and indoor mini golf venue Holey Moley on Third Street Promenade. Guests are encouraged to wear festive attire—there’s a prize for best holiday spirit—and can opt for a VIP route-hopper ticket for expanded access. In honor of Santa Monica’s 150th anniversary, the crawl will also feature a block party on the Promenade’s new Entertainment Zone with beer gardens, live entertainment, DJs and seasonal pop-up bars. TINSELCOLOR: Holiday Soundtracks Live at Cinevita

For The Record unveils the cast of TINSELCOLOR: Holiday Soundtracks Live, a new holiday production hosted by Joey McIntyre at CineVita, a 15,000-square-foot Spiegeltent at Hollywood Park. The show transforms the venue’s stained glass and carved wood into a cinematic holiday setting, featuring more than 25 film scores performed by an eight-piece band and a 14-member company of vocalists, musicians and dancers. Dec. 11. Pluto TV brings its nationwide “Holidays Are Brutal” campaign to Los Angeles with a pop-up rage room offering a cathartic break from holiday stress. Fans can step into classic seasonal scenes and release tension by smashing ornaments, tackling wrapping paper messes and channeling action-movie energy as Pluto TV’s most explosive fight moments play around them.
