In.Live Launch Party

Aug. 27. In celebration of the launch of In.Live—a new streaming platform for live entertainment—tune in for a performance by musician Luther Russell (pictured) and panel discussion joined by industry insiders at L.A. recording studio and hotel Gold-Diggers. Argentine Tango Lesson

Aug. 28. Taking your dancing skills to the next level with a virtual lesson from instructor Ilona Glinarsky on the sultry dance of Argentine tango. The Ballad of Emmett Till Online Reading

To mark the 65th anniversary of Emmett Till’s murder, the original director and cast of the Fountain Theatre’s 2010, multiple award-winning production of The Ballad of Emmett Till by Ifa Bayeza reunite for a live-streamed reading of the play on Friday. Skirball Stages: Gavin Turek and Ak Dan Gwang Chil

The Skirball Cultural Center launches Skirball Stages with a celebratory concert streamed live on its YouTube channel at 8 p.m. for free bringing together two worlds with Los Angeles native Gavin Turek and Ak Dan Gwang Chil of Seoul, South Korea.
