MOVE Santa Monica Brings “Coachella Meets Fitness”
Starts Aug. 17. Celebrating its 150th anniversary with MOVE, Santa Monica is hosting a two-hour choreographed wellness event on at the Santa Monica Pier. Presented by City SHRED, the morning blends breathwork, yoga, pilates with Maia Henry, high-energy dance and HIIT for a festival-style fitness experience. Attendees can also enjoy swag bags, wellness activations, cold plunges, product samples and recovery treatments from leading health brands. Spinning Sunset: A Vinyl Wax Fair
Aug. 16. The Sunset Strip channels its rock ’n’ roll heyday with a vinyl and music memorabilia market taking over the Pink Dot parking lot. Guests can browse booths from local record stores and vintage vendors while an all-vinyl DJ set keeps the soundtrack spinning. Admission is free with online reservations, which also enter you into a giveaway. CicLavia: Culver City meets Venice Presented By Metro
Aug. 17. CicLAvia returns with a 6.75-mile car-free route from Culver City to Venice Beach, inviting bikes, skateboards, strollers and just about anything without an engine to take over the streets. Along the way, participants can enjoy live music, street performances, food trucks and pop-up specials from local shops and restaurants.
