Oct. 6. The Los Angeles/Orange County chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier presents the documentary film A Fine Line…A Woman’s Place is in the Kitchen screening at Hotel Irvine’s plush theater. The fundraiser starts with a reception featuring cheese, charcuterie and wine, champagne or water, followed by the 80-minute film. All proceeds benefit the Phyllis Ann Marshall Culinary Scholarship fund to assist young culinarians.
