ArtWalk Liberty Station
July 31-Aug. 2. Make this weekend an artsy one at ArtWalk @ Liberty Station. Taking place at Ingram Plaza at Arts District Liberty Station, the 21st annual fine art festival will showcase works by 175 artists from across the U.S. and Mexico, including paintings, photography, sculptures, ceramic, glass works and jewelry. Cardiff Dog Days of Summer
Aug. 2. Presented by Kahoots and hosted by Cardiff 101 Main Street and the City of Encinitas, the 21st annual Cardiff Dog Days of Summer returns to Encinitas Community Park. Grab your canine bestie for an afternoon of live music, food trucks, local pet adoption agencies, rescue groups such as the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, 100-plus vendors, dog contests and drawings. Uncorked Wine Festival
Aug. 1. Wine corks will be poppin’ at Uncorked at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club’s Seaside Cabana. Alongside “bettin’ on the ponies” at Del Mar Racetrack, guests can sample from a selection of more than 100 wines and bubbly from California and around the world; along with local food trucks and live DJ music all afternoon. Now Open. CH Projects strikes again, this time in Coronado—debuting the 31-room maximalist boutique hotel, The Baby Grand. The biggest of its three dining concepts is Night Hawk. The Greek restaurant is entirely alfresco, featuring faux rock seating, a waterfall, tiki torches, a marble bar, and incoming sea breezes from Coronado Beach. The Rady Shell: Weekend Concerts

The Conrad: LJMS SummerFest
July 31-Aug. 29. La Jolla Music Society (LJMS) celebrates the 40th anniversary of its acclaimed SummerFest.
