As the world’s biggest sporting event arrives in Southern California, Los Angeles Union Station is preparing to welcome thousands of fans for four days of free programming, live match viewing, food, music, and immersive soccer experiences.
From June 25 through June 28, the historic Downtown Los Angeles landmark will serve as an official Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Fan Zone, transforming its iconic spaces into a gathering place where soccer supporters, families, and visitors from around the globe can celebrate the tournament together.
The event is free and open to all ages, offering everything from giant match-viewing screens and live entertainment to interactive challenges, local food vendors, public art, and special guest appearances.
Watch Every Match at Union Station
At the center of the experience is the station’s historic Ticket Concourse, which will be transformed into the Fan Zone’s Main Stage.
Fans can watch live FIFA World Cup matches on a supersized LED screen while enjoying DJ performances, soccer trivia, giveaways, and special appearances throughout the day.
Additional viewing opportunities will be available across the property:
- Large-format outdoor match viewing in Lot B
- Continuous match broadcasts inside the Waiting Room
- Live DJs and fan programming throughout the activation
- Meet-and-greet opportunities and surprise appearances
The result is a citywide watch party atmosphere in one of Los Angeles’ most recognizable landmarks.
Train Like a Pro
Beyond the matches, guests can test their skills in the interactive “Train Like a Pro” zone.
The hands-on experience allows fans to:
- Practice dribbling drills
- Test kicking speed
- Take accuracy challenges
- Capture photos at the “Pose Like a Pro” installation
Designed for all ages, the activation blends friendly competition with the excitement of live tournament action.
Men in Blazers Brings Soccer’s Biggest Podcast to Los Angeles
One of the Fan Zone’s marquee events arrives on Thursday, June 25, when the globally popular soccer media brand Men in Blazers hosts a live show from Union Station.
Beginning at 5 p.m., host Roger Bennett and special celebrity guests will take the stage ahead of the evening’s 7 p.m. match, delivering a live celebration of soccer culture, storytelling, and fandom.
For many supporters, it will be one of the most anticipated off-the-field events of the four-day activation.
Coca-Cola Fan Zone Experiences
Fans looking for interactive activities can visit the Coca-Cola Fan Zone, where customization stations, giveaways, photo opportunities, and team-themed experiences will create a festival atmosphere throughout the event.
The activation is designed to help visitors show their team pride while connecting with supporters from around the world.
Food Trucks, Local Favorites, and Matchday Eats
No major Los Angeles event is complete without great food.
Union Station’s Matchday Eats program will feature a lineup of local favorites including:
- Traxx Restaurant & Bar
- Everywhere Beer
- Cilantro Fresh Mexican Grill
- Wetzel’s Pretzels
- Iced Above
In partnership with Smorgasburg Los Angeles, food trucks will gather beneath the station’s iconic clock tower from Friday through Sunday.

The lineup offers visitors a chance to sample some of Los Angeles’ most popular local flavors while taking in the World Cup atmosphere.
A Celebration Across the Heart of the City
Union Station’s Fan Zone is part of a larger World Cup celebration stretching across Downtown Los Angeles.
Neighboring cultural destinations including El Pueblo de Los Angeles and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes will host live music, food experiences, family programming, and cultural activities that together create a unified “Heart of the City” destination during the tournament.
The collaboration highlights Los Angeles’ diversity and cultural richness as the city welcomes visitors from around the world.
