The public is invited to join the festivities on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 6-9 p.m. to mark an exciting milestone and the new chapter at Ace/121 Gallery in Glendale. As Glendale Arts settles into its 800 square foot art gallery in the heart of Glendale, it will continue its tradition of delivering dynamic arts and entertainment programming to the community.
Guests will get an exclusive first look at the gallery and can indulge in complimentary drinks, bites, and entertainment. Meet the 2023-24 Glendale Arts Board of Directors and Staff, and get ready to kick off the upcoming 2023 Glendale International Film Festival in style.
They are also launching its new membership program, SCENE, aimed at fostering a vibrant artistic community. The first 50 attendees to sign up for SCENE will receive an awesome SCENE t-shirt and swag bag. SCENE membership will open doors to discounted pricing, pre-sale access, and more exciting perks from Glendale Arts and SCENE Partners like Antaeus Theatre, Laemmle Theatres, and the Museum of Neon Art. Connect with fellow artists and art enthusiasts while exploring the world of arts and entertainment like never before.
After serving over one million patrons since its inception in 2008, Glendale Arts is now ready to embark on a new journey at Ace/121 Gallery. Operating as a multidisciplinary arts and entertainment venue, the gallery will host a diverse array of exhibits, performances, workshops, and events. With this move, Glendale Arts expands its mission to embrace the visual and fine arts space, furthering its commitment to showcasing, promoting, and engaging with the arts in Glendale and greater Los Angeles.
The gallery is located at 121 N. Kenwood St., Glendale. Entrance can be accessed from Louise St. or through the paseo on Kenwood St. south of Wilson Ave. Free parking is available on-site in the YMCA parking garage, with additional free and metered parking options on surrounding streets and in the Exchange Parking Structure – offering 90 minutes of free parking – at 115 N. Artsakh Ave.
