Still life featured prominently in the early experiments of pioneers of photography, and more than 170 years later, it continues to be a significant motif for contemporary photographers. The Getty Center presents In Focus: Still Life, on display through Jan. 23, featuring the photographs of masters such as Charles Aubry, Hans Bellmer, Walker Evans, Sigmar Polke and Man Ray .
