How is it, considering the legions of Hollywood A-listers who profess love for Rag & Bone, that the Los Angeles flagship store has only just opened? Let’s chalk it up to one of life’s little mysteries and agree with the brand’s co-designer and managing partner David Neville that “it was high time [it] added a store on the West Coast.” If size matters, it may have been worth the wait: With 4,000 square feet of retail space, the New York-based brand’s bilevel, glass-ensconced space in West Hollywood is the largest of the bunch. The men’s and women’s collections, jeans, shoes and accessories are displayed amid industrial-chic exposed brick and beams, concrete floors and distressed wood and stone tables. Rag & Bone’s simple-yet-edgy style may have its roots in downtown New York, but it looks right at home in the Southland. 8533 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood, 424.245.4816. rag-bone.com
