The hit production—about a duo of idealistic Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda to share their sacred text with the local people—boasts a book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award–winning creators of the animated series South Park; Tony Award winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running musical comedy Avenue Q. “The question people most ask me about the show—aside from, ‘Can you get me tickets?’—is ‘When’s it coming to L.A.?’ ” Lopez cracks. “It’s great to finally have a good answer to one question, if not the other.” Book of Mormon run through Nov. 25.
