Salted Live is a monthly educational dinner series that brings together celebrated chefs to collaborate on a hybrid cooking class and dinner with a different ingredient theme each month. This month the tenacious group of foodies celebrated bacon. Teacher-chefs included Chef Adam Gertler (Dog Haus) who demoed pastrami bacon, scallops with pancetta and smoked bacon, while Chef Elana Horwich (Meal and a Spiel) showed the class how to make a flourless chocolate cake. Greenbar distillery provided craft spirits that were finessed by mixologist Brynn Smith.
