Ocean Beach Oktoberfest
Oct. 11-12. Grab some friends and head to Ocean Beach for the unique Southern California salute to the celebration of German culture and fun. La Jolla Art & Wine Festival 
Oct. 12-13. Head to the beautiful seaside village of La Jolla for the eleventh annual La Jolla Art & Wine Festival. The free two-day juried art show and fundraiser is one of the most prestigious art and wine festivals in Southern California. Featuring over 150 artists from across the U.S. and Mexico, their exquisite creations come in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry design, fine glass, ceramics, woodwork, mixed media and photography. The festival is also a destination where vino enthusiasts and craft beer lovers unite. Seasonal Dishes at BANKERS HILL BAR + Restaurant
Now Available. Inspired by the season’s freshest produce and flavors, new dinner selections include: gingered carrot and andouille sausage soup topped with sourdough croutons, cilantro and lime cream; grilled levain bruschetta with roasted apples, butternut squash chutney, whipped goat cheese and arugula; burrata cheese with spiced pear jam, toasted hazelnuts, arugula and grilled levain. New Fall Menu at Monzu Fresh Pasta
Now Available. Monzu Fresh Pasta ushers in fall with new antipasti and pasta, the former including Grilled Scallops served over house pesto vinaigrette, a Fall Salad featuring mixed greens, roasted chickpeas, dried cranberries and walnuts, and a sweet Burrata Salad served on baby arugula and topped with raspberry granita. Giardino’s Cocktail Menu
Now Available. After nearly two years, the neighborhood eatery in Lemon Grove is finally able to serve cocktails. Guests can order classics, like the Negroni, Old Fashioned and French 75. Of course, they are serving the popular Aperol Spritz as well as aperitivos, but it’s the originals that the locals are excited about. Pahlmeyer Wine Dinner at THE MED
Oct. 10. Join THE MED for an exceptional multi-course wine dinner prepared by Executive Chef Timothy Ralphs.
