Rooftop Pool Party
Aug. 31. End summer on a high note by joining JSix this Saturday for a Frankie Avalon-themed Labor Day pool party. U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge
Aug. 31-Sept. 1. One of the most prominent sand sculpting competitions returns! 12 Master Class Sculptors, seven from countries around the world and five from the United States, will compete in San Diego to carve museum-quality sculptures made from only sand and water. End of Summer Luau at SEA180°
Sept. 1. Celebrate this Labor Day weekend with flair at Sea 180° Coastal Tavern’s beachfront terrace. Feast on authentic Hawaiian dishes at their Seaside Buffet, full of delicious bites like Coconut Shrimp, Spam Musbui, Caramelized Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Roast Pig and more. Burlesque + More Celebrations at Louisiana Purchase
Aug. 30, Sept. 2. North Park’s neighborhood restaurant and bar, Louisiana Purchase, is celebrating Labor Day by kicking off the weekend with a Burlesque Night on Friday night. There will be two shows ( 9:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.) along with cocktail specials throughout the evening. On Monday, Louisiana Purchase will be a hosting a neighborhood fish fry kicking off at noon, and chef Q will also be cooking up ribs and burgers. 2305 University Avenue, North Park, 619.255.8278.



Miss B’s Coconut Club Labor Day Festivities
Aug. 31- Sept. 1. Raise a glass to the final days of summer during Miss B’s Coconut Club’s Labor Day Weekend celebration. On Saturday, enjoy specials on bbq sliders and Juneshine, a San Diego local Kombucha company. On Sunday,  join in for an “All White Brunch” at Miss B’s, because this is technically the last day you can fashionably wear your white attire. Erik Skoldberg Gallery Pop-Up at Pendry San Diego 
Through Labor Day. Artist Erik Skoldberg is popping up at Pendry San Diego with a colorful art gallery in Pendry’s first floor gallery space. Known for his large scale acrylic paintings and custom surfboards, his combination of energetically charged colors and unique layering process complements any space. Exclusive to the Pendry pop-up, Skoldberg will display some of his custom surfboards, in addition to select pieces of art, available for browsing and for purchase. Aug. 29- Sept. 1. Legendary comedian and writer Steve Martin is back with a riotously funny farce. Newly married Louise is bored with her demanding and uptight bureaucrat husband. Then one day at the royal parade, she jumps up on a bench to see the king go by, and oops—wardrobe malfunction!—her bloomers come loose and fall down around her ankles.
