California Wine Festival
June 20-21. The annual California Wine Festival returns to Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. The two-day event comprises the Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting on Friday evening; and the Beachside Wine Festival on the Heron Lawn on Saturday afternoon. Into the Horizon Music Festival
June 21-22. It’s a “stacked weekend of sunshine and sound.” The likes of Alesso, The Chainsmokers (pictured), Gryffin and Sofi Tukker headline the two-day Into the Horizon music festival at Waterfront Park. Zoomies Presents: Sniff & Sip
June 22. It’s the best of all worlds: dogs, music, drinks and food. Zoomies presents a summer party for dog lovers on Sunday. Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra Festival
June 18-28. The largest gathering of concertmasters and principal players in North America will come together for six concerts at UC San Diego’s Epstein Family Amphitheater and The Conrad in La Jolla. Highlights include Mozart’s “Serenata notturna,” Strauss’ Duet Concertino for Clarinet and Bassoon, Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante in A Major, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, on June 20 at The Conrad; and Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro, Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, and Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring pianist Joyce Yang, at Epstein on June 21.
