“Dukes & Boots” at PRK 101

April 18. PRK 101, the multi-level Carlsbad hangout, event venue and “elevated beach smokehouse” with a country-western vibe and one of the large beer selections in North County, presents its latest installment of “Dukes & Boots”—an ongoing series celebrating country music and dancing. Local country artist Cody Carter takes the stage this Friday. PRK 101’s spacious, 8,000-square-foot space, large LED jumbotron and extensive cocktail list promises a fun evening. San Diego EarthFest

April 19. Mother Earth is the star of the day at San Diego EarthFest, presented by Viridian Productions this year on the expansive Presidents Lawn at Balboa Park. The Earth Day celebration showcases more than 100 eco-friendly vendors, including product and food vendors, animal-rescue outfits, and environmental and conservation groups; along with an international food court, live music and DJs, speakers and demos, yoga and wellness classes, and kid-friendly activities. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Free admission and free parking available. Lane Field Park Market

April 19-20. This popular weekend market by the waterfront across from Broadway Pier features live music, gourmet street food, artwork and pop-up installations, handmade jewelry, crafts, San Diego Bay views and more. Sample cuisine from close to 45 food vendors alone, including waffles, crepes, empanadas, burgers, gourmet hot dogs, Vietnamese bao, barbecue, Thai food, wood-fired pizza, hot mini doughnuts, baked goods and smoothies. April 20. Indoor-outdoor restaurant ARLO promises an “eggcellent” Easter with its special holiday buffet brunch. Offerings include a seafood station, pastries, specialty salads and desserts; plus entrees like braised short ribs, quiche, beef striploin and rosemary-crusted, grilled leg of lamb; and Easter-themed cocktails. Chicano Park Day

S.D. Symphony Mardi Gras Concert

April 19. Jacobs Music Center hits some fabulous high notes with its spring concert lineup.
