Meaning “good wine” in French, Bon Vin curates a carefully selected collection of wines available by the glass, bottle and to-go.
Bon Vin was named for its founding premise—to bring good wine to San Diego. The retail shop offers a wide selection specializing in American and French wines, each of which was only added to the carefully curated collection after being tasted first hand by Bon Vin staff. Also available are fine artisanal products ranging from Michel Cluizel Parisian chocolates to Urbani black truffles, and a wide selection of aged balsamic vinegars and delectable extra virgin olive oil. Being both a bottle shop and wine bar, Bon Vin offers an array of flight tastings and opportunities to compare wines side by side in the rustic “salle a manger,” or dining space, before taking a bottle home. The 1920s-inspired Parisian décor creates an intimate setting perfect for a wine and cheese pairing. Sip an old favorite fron Bon Vin’s extensive selection, or be daring and try a Savoie or a Juracon with the assistance of the exceptionally knowledgeable staff.
