16th Annual Thanksgiving 5K
Nov. 23. Before filling up on Thanksgiving dinner, more than 7,5000 runners and walkers will lace up their sneakers for San Diego’s original turkey trot: Father Joe’s Villages’ Thanksgiving Day 5K. Walk or jog the iconic route through Balboa Park to reach a family-friendly festival at the finish line. 7:30 a.m. race begins, 8:30 a.m. festival begins. $42. Waddle and Trot 5K and Kid’s Fun Run
Nov. 23. Walkers and runners of all levels are welcome to get their Thanksgiving off to a healthy start. This fast and flat 5K race starts and finishes at the scenic Santee Lakes. Coronado 5K Turkey Trot

Holiday by the Bay Opening
