An intimate and romantic space perched atop La Valencia Hotel, The Sky Room has recently reopened. The refreshed restaurant once again offers exceptional views of the La Jolla coastline, but now with a seasonal multi-course tasting menu created by acclaimed Chef Luke Johnson and boasts an enhanced wine program. With this revival, The Sky Room now features an impeccable farm-fresh tasting menu that pairs California-American cuisine with advanced European techniques. The multi-course menu ranges from five to eight courses and celebrates the bounty of locally grown produce, as well as specialty flavors from around the world. Highlights of The Sky Room’s summer tasting menu include raw scallop with watermelon, radish and cucumber; chilled tomato soup with heirloom beans, basil and manchego; and pork belly ravioli with corn and blueberry.
