Craft Cocktails with a Southern Flair at Bailiwick
Cocktails shine at Bailiwick, Gaslamp Quarter spot serving up a touch of Southern hospitality.
One of downtown’s newer bars, Bailiwick serves up craft cocktails and local brews along side it’s Southern-inspired menu and has quickly become the place to see and be seen in the Gaslamp. Its stylish interior encompasses white brick walls, crystal chandeliers, hanging birdcages, flat-screen TVs and dining tables on tracks that roll up the wall to create more space in the evening hours. Cocktails really shine here; try the Blood & Smoke—made with Del Maguey Mezcal Vida, Solerno blood orange, agave nectar, orange and grapefruit. During cocktail hour, offered most days from 5-8 p.m., imbibe with draft beers, house wines and a selection of mules for just $5 each. For food, indulge in a great oyster menu and perhaps the best weekend brunch in the Gaslamp—complete with an old-fashioned tub filled with champagne. 756 Fifth Ave., Gaslamp Quarter. 619.795.3036. bailiwicksd.com
