Andaz’s Labor Day Pool Party
Sept 1. Say goodbye to summer with poolside DJs and 360-degree views of downtown. Headlining DJs include Lifelike, a top dance music producer out of France, and Solidisco, a duo of quickly rising disco house music DJs hailing from New York. Also catch sets from DJs Kyle Flesch, Huy Believe, Brady Spear, Will Hernandez, Engage, Cris Herrera, Joey Jimenez, Murphi Kennedy and J Wu, play in the pool with an assortment of water toys, and shop street-inspired threads at Fortune 421’s pop-up boutique. After sunset, stick around as the rooftop space transforms into RoofTop600 at Andaz and San Diego’s leading DJs spin the night away. Barleymash Brunch
Sept. 2. No one enjoys a three day weekend more than Barleymash, which is celebrating Labor Day with a special Monday brunch. Stick around for live reggae music in the afternoon from Natural Heights, beginning at 2 p.m. Brunch begins at 10 a.m. Barleymash, 600 5th Ave  San Diego. 619.255.7373.

Labor Day Brunch Cruise
Sept. 2. Celebrate the holiday weekend on San Diego’s beautiful bay with a Hornblower brunch cruise. This Labor Day, end the summer with a bang on a two-hour brunch cruise with friends and family, complete with bottomless mimosas, multiple serving stations and a decadent dessert selection. Labor Day Intervention
Aug. 31.-Sept. 1. To honor the last big summer weekend, Intervention at Hard Rock Hotel is holding two days of pool party madness. Oceanside Labor Day Pier Swim
Sept. 2. This annual swim is an event celebrated by athletes all over California. Now in its 84th year, the Pier Swim is a one-mile course that begins and ends on the beach. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Heats start at 8:30 a.m. Oceanside Pier. 760-435-1031.
