Pack a picnic and enjoy music under the stars at the Pacific Symphony’s summer festival at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine.The season continues with “Beethoven’s Greatest Hits” on Aug. 12. The acclaimed ensemble’s music director, Carl St. Clair, leads the program that includes Piano Concerto No. 5, “Emperor,” with Gabriela Martinez as soloist, and Symphony No. 7. On Aug. 12 the symphony performs its annual Tchaikovsky Spectacular.
