Customized travel accessories boutique launches in Newport Beach with Hello Kitty collaboration
Stoney Clover Lane has just opened its first West Coast location—its fourth store opening in less than two years, joining three on the East Coast—at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach. Distinctive candy-colored merchandise includes sweatshirts, t-shirts and hats as well as pouches, backpacks, duffels and other personalized travel accessories. Décor features California-inspired elements such as surfboards and life preservers.
The boutique’s signature patches also reflect the locale. An in-store seamstress works at a sewing station to create personalized patched products; products with pre-sewn patches are also available.
This month, Stoney Clover Lane partners with Hello Kitty to mark the 60th anniversary of Sanrio, creator of the super-cute character. Festive limited-edition accessories include a fanny pack and duffle, in patterns such as “Winter Sports” and “Winter Fun,” and embossed iridescent Hello Kitty patches with endless customization options.
