Strawberry Festival

May 26-29. Memorial Day Weekend kicks off in delicious fashion as the 63rd Garden Grove Strawberry Festival kicks off. From the Strawberry Festival Parade, to contests, musical performances, vendor booths, rides and attraction, and more, this weekend-long extravaganza has something for the whole family. Scottish Fest

May 27-28. A Scottish celebration comes to Costa Mesa this weekend as Scottish Fest returns. Come explore and enjoy two packed days of family fun with bagpipes, drums, highland dancing, Scottish clans and genealogy, Scottish athletics, shopping, food and so much more. Newport Beach Wine Festival

May 26-28. Kick off the summer at Balboa Bay Resort’s Newport Beach Wine & Spirits Festival- a celebration of wine, spirits and light bites over Memorial Day Weekend. Marila’s Mexican Opens

Opens May 26. The team behind award-winning Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar introduces a new restaurant, Marila’s Mexican, offering the comforts of home cooking through family recipes passed down through generations. Pop-up at Maison Fox

Moongoat Sets Up Shop in Laguna Beach

Casa Romantica to Partially Reopen

May 26. Beloved landmark recognized as the home of Ole Hanson, Founder of the city of San Clemente, is delighted to announce its plans for a partial reopening starting Memorial Day weekend, almost one month following the landslide of the Ocean Terrace. To mark this occasion, Casa Romantica will host an official grand opening event featuring a Coffee Concert and ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 26th. Friday, at 10 a.m. 415 Avenida Granada, San Clemente.

LCAD Workshop: Amanda Kazemi

May 28. Come for a fascinating needle-felting workshop led by Amanda Kazemi, a recent MFA graduate from LCAD. Explore the art of needle-felting while crafting your very own seal. This workshop is suitable for guests aged 8 and older. All children must be accompanied by at least one paying adult. Supplies are included with the purchase of a ticket.
