Jean Stern Presents: The Life and Art of Anna Hills
March 15. The Life and Art of Anna Hills (1882-1930) is a slide-illustrated lecture on one of California’s most important artists. Born in Ohio, Hills studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago and studied in Paris, London and Holland before returning to the United States. She was a founding member of the Laguna Beach Art Association who helped raise the funds to purchase the land and construct the building that housed the Laguna Beach Art Association and is now the Laguna Art Museum.
