Tet Festival

Feb. 9-11. The Tet Festival boasts about the attraction of over 100,000+ audiences and hundreds of booths in a span of a three day weekend event. Visitors are immersed with a vibrant array of traditional foods, live entertainment, festive games and customs celebrating the Vietnamese Lunar New Year. Friday at 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.

Kinder Karneval Fasching 

Feb. 11. Families with children ages 4 -17 are welcome to join an afternoon filled with activities, dances and games lead by teachers of A family fun event with traditional Fasching’s delicatessens like the famous “Berliner”, Krapfen, and Currywurst. Takes place at Old World Village, 7561 Center Ave., Huntington Beach. Tickets can be found here.

San Juan Capistrano Walking Tour

SJC Walking Tour

Feb. 10. The Walking Tour visits two San Juan Capistrano adobes built in the 1790s and the Victorian Pryor House. Hear tales of Buchard, the pirate, Juan Flores, the bandito, Chola Martina, the bruja and much more. Blue Note Records 85th Anniversary Tour starring The Blue Note Quintet

Feb 9. Blue Note Records commemorates its 85th anniversary with a U.S. tour headlined by The Blue Note Quintet, a collective assembled to pay tribute to the label’s illustrious history and spotlight its diverse array of contemporary artists. Led by six-time Grammy Award nominee Gerald Clayton as musical director and pianist, the ensemble features vibraphonist Joel Ross, saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins, drummer Kendrick Scott and bassist Matt Brewer. Lunar New Year Festivities

Feb. 10. Bring the entire family to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Rodeo 39 Public Market will celebrate Lunar New Year with a day of family fun, including face painting, balloon artist, lion dancing and red envelope giveaways.
