Drive-In Movies at Irvine Spectrum Center

Aug. 6-9. Missed out on the drive-in movies last week? Hurry and purchase your tickets for this weekend’s showings before they’re gone! Featured films are Mean Girls (Thursday), Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (Friday) and Jurassic Park (Sunday). Tickets are $50 per car and includes a $20 Irvine Spectrum Center gift card to use toward dinner or snacks from one of the center’s restaurants before the flick. Live Music at Dana Point Harbor

Aug. 6. Dana Point Harbor continues to present live music performances throughout the month of August as part of “You, Me + Vitamin Sea,” welcoming the community back to a safe harbor. The Pavilion at South Coast Plaza

Now Open. Take shopping to the next level at South Coast Plaza’s newest in-person customer experience, located in the center’s north parking structure. The Pavilion features a collection of 14 open-air suites that offer modern furnishings, fitting rooms, beautiful floral arrangements, Wi-Fi, partial climate control and more. Opens Aug. 8. Did you hear the scoop? The San Diego-based, modern-day ice cream shop is now an Orange County resident in Costa Mesa! Head on over to get a taste of Stella Jean’s signature, handmade flavors, including a few plant-based options—all made on-site in both traditional and unconventional varieties. Bayside’s Three-Course Take-Home Menu

Now Available. For those who haven’t felt very motivated to cook dinner lately, the Newport Beach locally owned restaurant is happy to help! Bayside presents a decadent three-course takeout menu that can feed two or four people ($55 for two, $110 for four). It comes with everything you, and there’s no cooking necessary. From Dusk to Dawn

Through Aug. 9. Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) presents its annual City Hall exhibition, From Dusk to Dawn. This juried cultural arts show is offered as a virtual gallery exhibit this year with all artwork available for purchase through LPAPA’s special priced sale/auction with proceeds benefitting the artists and LPAPA. Sculptura Botanica

On View. Head to Sherman Library & Gardens to explore the newest outdoor exhibit created by local landscape designer and ceramic artist Dustin Gimbel.
