Your Guide to KAABOO Del Mar

KAABOO is an “experiential” festival with more than just music. See celebrity chefs, A-list comedians, artist-created murals and more at this three-day event September 14-16.

Music

This year’s music lineup ranges from old to new. Headliners include the Foo Fighters (Friday), Imagine Dragons (Saturday) and Katy Perry (Sunday), as well as Earth, Wind & Fire, Post Malone and Robert Plant. Catch artists on multiple stages from as early at 11:45 a.m. to 9:05 p.m.

Comedy

For a good laugh, head to the Humor Me stage hosted by J.F. Harris. Featured comedians include Craig Ferguson (Friday), Iliza Shelsinger (Saturday) and Judd Apatow (Sunday) with additional appearances by Whitney Cummings, Pauly Shore and Nikki Glaser.

Culinary

There will be no shortages of food, drinks or chefs at this festival. If you’re hungry, Palate Tastes include Belly Bombz, Dang Brother Pizza, Thai One On, Wicked Maine Lobster, Mariposa Ice Cream, The Dirty Cookie and more. Then grab some Palate Sips from Saint Archer Brewing Co., High Brew Coffee, Cutwater Spirits, Mark West Wines or Wyder’s Cider to name a few. Featured chefs this year include Richard Blais, Michelle Bernstein, Ludo Lefebvre, Marc Forgione, Top Chef‘s Joe Sasto III and Evan Estrada from MasterChef Junior.

Art

Explore the grounds of KAABOO for murals and installations by artists like Carly Ealey, Cryptik, Fin Dac, Helice Wen and more. Stop by galleries by the San Diego Museum of Art, Sparks Gallery, Sugar Press, Distinction Gallery and 1Lyfe. Exhibiting artists include Ariel Gold, Collin Salazar, Tierney Moses and Michael Carini.
