Fitwall—Six Week Fitness Challenge
Jan. 16. Revive your workout routine with a fun, effective and efficient workout—Fitwall. The 40-minute classes are never larger than 15 people with one coach per every eight participants. A single class encompasses cardio, strength and flexibility training. Each day of the week throughout a given month will feature its own workout and with each month brings a new set of workouts. You’ll never get bored, but more importantly, the changing workouts help to avoid plateaus. Monday and Tuesday focus on strength, Wednesday and Thursday blend strength and cardio, Friday and Saturday focus on cardio and Sundays are a mixture of the different routines. Additionally, the studio offers semi-private training with a ratio of four students to one coach and private one-on-one training. The sessions are custom-tailored workouts for those that are nursing injuries, seeking a larger focus on strength building or for those just looking to improve form. After each grueling workout, everyone receives a refreshing peppermint lavender infused wet towel and a coconut water shot to cool down and hydrate. The six-week challenge orientation will take place January 12 where nutritional guidelines and tips to be successful during the challenge will be reviewed. Beginning January 16, each participant is challenged to attend class minimum four times a week and to lose two inches in the waist, one inch in arms and legs and to perform 33 percent more repetitions. Throughout the challenge, participants can attend workshops on health and fitness, yoga, recovery and more. At the end, their will be a congratulatory party.
