July 11-14. The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego hosts a four-day celebration devoted to all things swimwear. Holo Holo Music Festival

July 13-14. Head to Thrive Park at Snapdragon Stadium for two days of Polynesian, Hawaiian and reggae music at this uplifting traveling festival. R&B Block Party at Quartyard

July 13. It’s an “All White Affair” for this Saturday’s R&B Block Party at outdoor venue Quartyard. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best white attire for an evening of ’70s soul music and ‘90s and early-2000s R&B jams “that you just don’t get in the club no more.” Think: throwback tunes by artists such as Jodeci, Bell Biv Devoe, Tony! San Diego Pride Week

“Beethoven by the Bay” at The Shell

“Twilight in the Park” Concerts at Balboa Park

New San Diego Museum of Art Exhibit

Now On View. The San Diego Museum of Art presents a new exhibit, Garry Winogrand, Man of the Crowd, open through Jan. 12, 2025. One of the most pivotal artists in 20th-century American photography, Garry Winogrand (1928-1984) shot hundreds of thousands of pictures over his lifetime. He was known for his ability to move among crowds, using his lightweight Leica camera, capturing historic moments of the 1960s and 1970s in particular.
