The ensemble, known for its unique sound culture and engaging programming, has graced numerous festivals and prestigious venues worldwide, including serving as the ensemble-in-residence at the Czech Philharmonic in Prague’s Dvorak Hall. Praised for their “drama, expression, and utmost sensitivity” by The Strad, they exhibit natural musicianship and keen intelligence, advocating for Czech music and underrepresented composers like Reicha, Haas, Ullmann, and Schulhoff. For this performance, they are joined by pianist and composer Arsentiy Kharitonov, whose technical mastery and wide dramatic range have earned him accolades, including victories at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition and the Rachmaninoff Competition.
