Moonshine Beach’s Sixth Anniversary

Legacy Week at USS Midway Museum
Through May 30. Welcome aboard “the “Midway” (christened as such in 1942). The retired naval aircraft carrier is home to more than 30 restored airplanes and helicopters, family-friendly exhibits, a cafe and a massive flight deck overlooking San Diego Bay. The museum’s “Legacy Week” is in full swing through Monday—including an onboard Memorial Day Wreath Ceremony, a National Moment of Remembrance, an interactive Remembrance Wall, its annual blood drive and Facebook live broadcasts. Malashock Dance’s “Horizons” Collaboration
May 26-29. Head to the Arts District Liberty Station’s Ingram Plaza for a weekend of performances presented by Malashock Dance. Comprising all-new choreography, “Horizons” is the brainchild of John Malashock, Miki Ohlson of Island Moving Company (based in Newport, Rhode Island), and Tristian Griffin of Tristian Griffin Dance Company (based in Kansas City, Missouri). The collaboration stars six dancers from Island Moving Company and Malashock Dance in a versatile showcase of contemporary dance styles. Expedition Baja Exhibit at The Nat

The Old Globe’s Bob Fosse’s Dancin’

The original 1978 Broadway production of Dancin’—created, directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse—has been reimagined by director Wayne Cilento in Bob Fosse’s Dancin’ at The Old Globe.
