Cocktail-Making Classes
Oct. 16. Shake up your Friday night with in-person, socially distant cocktail-making classes in Seal Beach, hosted by Garrison Brothers Distillery and Prep Kitchen Essentials. Watch Garrison Brothers bourbon evangelist and O.C. local Ryan Autry (pictured) teach the techniques behind some of his favorite whiskey cocktails. Expect samples of the cocktails as well as passed snacks made using Garrison Brothers Bourbon. The Barclay Jazz Lunch
Oct. 17. Spend your Saturday afternoon at Bayside indulging in delicious New American fare while listening to a live jazz performance. In partnership with Irvine Barclay Theatre, Bayside is hosting dynamic trumpeter, composer and producer Rick Braun as the featured jazz artist. Rodeo 39 Grand Opening
Oct. 17-18. New food hall, say what?! Rodeo 39 Public Market is Orange County’s newest culinary and community experience opening this weekend—and it’s not your typical food hall. The site features expansive hangar doors that open up for an inside/outside setting; original artwork and murals from five different SoCal artists; and several first-to-market retail and restaurant concepts. Keeping social-distancing protocols in mind, grand opening festivities include live DJs and custom T-shirt and monogrammed bandanna giveaways to the first 100 people on both days.
