Children’s Discovery Museum Inspires San Diego Youth

Through exploration, imagination and experimentation, Sand Diego Children’s Discovery Museum encourages children to learn about the world.

With over 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor educational exhibit space, the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum’s new home in Escondido is open for exploration. In the new space, SDCDM continues its mission to increase children’s understanding of science, the arts and world cultures. Currently six exhibits are available, including Imagination Playground, a breakthrough play space offering a changing array of elements that allow children to constantly reconfigure their environment and design their own course of play. With a focus on moving parts, Imagination Playground includes giant foam blocks, mats, wagons, fabric and crates for children to explore endless possibilities. 320 North Broadway, Escondido. 760.233.7755. www.sdcdm.org
