Designing Women: Three labels we love from four stylish L.A. women.

Kinski ShoesTenOverSix We’ll admit it: We couldn’t shut up about TenOverSix boutique, a well curated haven of indie designer accessories just outside of West Hollywood, when it opened in 2008. Now co-owners Kristen Lee and Brady Cunningham also design hip footwear, hand-painted handbags and wallets and blanketlike capes under the TenOverSix house label. Geren Ford Lifetime Angeleno Geren Lockhart began her label in 2002 with one hotly coveted pair of pants. Lockhart’s brand has since expanded to a full contemporary women’s line, including an accessories line launched this spring with jewelry, belts and footwear. Clothing shops all over L.A., like Feature Boutique in Brentwood, snap up these casually chic pieces. Feature Boutique, 11958 San Vicente Blvd., Brentwood, 310.826.6600

Clarevivier Clare Vivier, who lives in Echo Park and produces her CLAREVIVIER handmade leather bags in Burbank, enchants fashionistas on independent and mass-market scales. Her sleek leather totes and drawstring iPhone pouches are sold at cool local boutiques like Mohawk General Store, while Target commissioned a budget version of her coveted foldover clutch to sell from its online Red Hot Shop.
