The Abbey’s Hangover Party
The party continues New Year’s Day with a Bloody Mary Brunch (hosted by Absolut), music will be provided by The Cube Guys at 9pm – a much anticipated evening as this will be their first performance in Los Angeles! starts at 9 a.m.

Viviane
Soak up everything you drank on New Year’s Eve with an indulgent brunch that offers dishes like fried egg and porchetta ham hoagie; bone marrow and trout caviar short stack on whole wheat blinis and San Francisco Rooster Shots (a hot each of freshly pressed wheat grass, orange juice and Tapatio tequila, in addition to the regular brunch menu.

The Bellwether
Nosh on Chef Ted Hopson’s globally inspired comfort foods like Dutch babies and eggs in purgatory, while you wash away your hangover woes with house-infused signature cocktails. To celebrate its brunch debut, The Bellwether is offering cocktail specials with $8 Bloody Marys and $5 mimosas. The restaurant’s brunch debuts New Year’s Day and continues on Saturdays and Sundays following from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Gracias Madre
Who wouldn’t want to start out 2016 with Fluffernutter French Toast (peanut butter, toasted marshmallow, on rustic wheat French toast topped with maple syrup)? You can also opt for their standard brunch fare like avocado toast, a Chimichanga, or perhaps the breakfast torta. You can detox or retox with drinks like their Madre Green Smoothie, Mexican Mimosa, Michelada or a classic Purista. 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Artisan House
The downtown dining spot offers a recovery buffet featuring their usual spread of breakfast favorites as well as additional specials that are sure to cure all stages of a hangover like tater tot nachos, and mini Kobe burgers. $24.99/pp with bottomless mimosas available for an extra $10. 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

The Wallace
Start your new year with brunch favorites like praline French toast with vanilla, pecan, whipped cream; pork belly tartine with poached egg, hollandaise, house made english muffin; biscuits n’ gravy with house sausage, red eye gravy, fried eggs; and chicken and waffle with maple butter, red chile syrup, old bay.

The Hungry Cat
Both the Hollywood and Santa Monica Canyon locations usher you into 2016 with brunch dishes like Johnny cakes with smoked trout salad; ricotta pancakes with lemon curd and berry compote; and soft shell crab BLT. Sip on bottomless bloody Marys and mimosas for $18.

Ray’s and Stark Bar
The brunch offers new and comforting à la carte additions to the restaurant’s normal brunch menu, in additions to specialty cocktails like The Painkiller, featuring black rum, pineapple, orange, and coconut cream. 11:30 a.m-3 p.m.

Herringbone Santa Monica
At chef Brian Malarkey’s chic new Westside hotspot, the new brunch menu steals inspiration from the local markets and laid back vibe of the SoCal beach scene. Dine on dishes like farmers market scrambled eggs and Malarkey’s signature lobster roll. Those in need of an extra dose of recovery will also be able to enjoy cocktails like the Peter Rabbit Mimosa with bruised basil lemonade, as well as bottomless mimosas. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Mr. C Beverly Hills
Venetian-style buffet brunch serves up fluffy pancakes and waffles with sweet Nutella and bananas, a make-your-own omelet station, fresh fruit, yogurt, European cheeses, charcuterie and pastries. After 11 a.m., add to the indulgence and enjoy classic Cipriani pastas, seasonal salads and desserts. $65/pp, includes a signature Cipriani Bellini. 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Pikey
New Year’s Day brings irresistible specials like the Hangtown Fry with house cured bacon and Naked Cowboy oysters, crayfish and grits with fried egg and foie gras peanut butter and jelly on house made brioche. Also enjoy bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas for $15. From 10:30 a.m.

Sasual
Head to El Segundo for Nuevo Rancho cuisine from chef Anne Conness. Brunch fare includes beef barbacoa hash with poached eggs, roasted poblano chili omelet and huevos rancheros. Also enjoy bottomless micheladas for $16.

Petty Cash Beverly
The 2nd annual Bartender’s Brunch offers a bevy of food, booze, games, balloon man, DJ, games and more. Noon.
